Thanks to all the people that got me here--there's so many of you all.

Biggest news since the last update is that I've received my first Daily Deviation (DD). The award was given on my deviation called Edge, I'm sure you've all seen it already. While I have many other pieces that I like much more, Its an honor to see so many people enjoying something that I've helped capture. At last count, the image had over 13K views on it, wow, thanks everyone .

I've recently bought an old Nikon 105mm f/2.5. It's a good lens, but nothing to call home about--too zoomed in for my taste. But an old man sold it to me for a wonderful price--probably what he payed for it in the 70's. I still love the 28mm like my own child though.

Things are picking up photographically: my college lets me exhibit my work when I ask and I think people may be noticing. A couple strangers have approached me asking if I am a photographer, which is a startling funny and humbling question. While I don't want to get my hopes up too quickly, it seems like I may be making a difference in the sleepy little town that I inhabit.
